Workshops for Children

Our team of music leaders have a wealth of experience in working with children and adults at all levels including, Out Reach projects; as you would expect, all are CRB checked.

Our Team of workshop leaders have also recently undergone extensive training with some of the UK’s leading specialists in vocal development, as part of their Specialist Music Leader Training.

We can tailor our workshops to your individual needs, but we also offer:

Children in harmony - We prepare children’s groups, both large and small, for performances and help them to gain harmonic and vocal confidence – including looking at pieces a group already knows in a new way.

Understanding the notes – We develop musical confidence through learning to read music and understanding traditional music notation, including sight-singing and aural training – more theoretical, but taught in a fun and easily approachable way.

Let’s get creative! - We help children to create their own music – no perimeters here.

Diversity through song! – A combination of jazz, rap, gospel, beatbox, Afro-Caribbean and traditional styles – this is a noisy one!

Sing it, remember it! - Song as a vehicle to cross-curricular learning.  Break down barriers to learning through the use of music and song.

Projects - The Olympic Torch Ceremony, for massed choirs, at the Royal Festival Hall, London, is one of the projects we have been recently involved in.

This was organised by Sing Up, the government Manifesto for encouraging Key Stage two children to embrace singing as an integral part of learning and self expression.
